Pangu iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak Release Date :

But iOS 9.2.1 is still in the beta version, right ? . Full version of iOS 9.2.1 download now available [ext link].Well, that hasn’t stopped Italian hacker Luca Todesco from working out the vulnerabilities of the firmware for jailbreaking it. The hacker has released a screenshot on his popular @qwertyoruiop Twitter handle, and the screenshot [image below] shows the hacker’s iPhone 6 running a jailbroken version of iOS 9.2.1 beta. However, before you think that the jailbreak will be released soon, you should note that this new jailbreak will not be released by the hacker. Luca himself mentioned in his tweet- “no releases“.

This announcement comes as a disappointment for all the iOS jailbreak users who have been waiting for the next jailbreak. However, there might still be some hope. That’s because iOS 9.2.1 is still in the beta form released in full version currently, and Luca might release the jailbreak, or at least the jailbreak source code, after Apple has released iOS 9.2.1 for the public [ iOS 9.2.1 Download Available – Ext Link ] . Another explanation tells us that Luca is one of those developers who like to find security exploits in firmwares but do not want to go to the extent of creating a full-on jailbreak tool. Such hackers usually pass on the exploits to jailbreak teams who are experienced in creating jailbreak tools for the public.
Many people are still doubting Luca’s claims to have jailbroken iOS 9.2.1. If you are one of them, you should know that Luca Todesco is a talented and experienced hacker and has been credited by Apple for unveiling a security exploit in iOS 9.2. Also, the hacker has had a significant hand in the making of Pangu’s iOS 9 jailbreak. Apart from that, Todesco had also worked on jailbreaking iOS 8.4.1, but it was never released in a jailbreak tool form; though the hacker did release the source code on GitHub. Finally, Luca has posted another screenshot showing the iOS 9.2.1 kernel dumps [image below]. This should be enough to tell you that the hacker has indeed succeeded in jailbreaking iOS 9.2.1.

We hope Pangu and TaiG are able to connect with Luca and create a jailbreak in collaboration with the talented Italian hacker.
